Gretchen Schilder

Gretchen Schilder has been serving VCS as an Educational Assistant since 2021. “I love working in an environment that is Christ-centered with other coworkers that have the same focus and goals to provide a positive environment for students to grow and learn both in academics and in their relationship with Christ.”

“Working in the high school, I love seeing these students grow in maturity as they progress through their high school career towards adulthood which may include getting their driver's license, getting their first job, tackling an AP class, applying for college scholarships, navigating through friendships and relationships that teach them real life lessons, studying for and passing a tough exam, or just being consistent in the daily tasks and assignments which sets them up for success in the long run.“
