Rebekah Lehman

Rebekah Lehman has been serving at VCS since 2012, the past three as a First Grade teacher. She brings energy and enthusiasm to learning each day and enjoys watching students begin to love to read, write and grow in their math skills. Mrs. Lehman is passionate about differentiation, offering hands-on learning by using manipulatives, songs, movement and pretty much anything to get her students to learn. She is a huge advocate for Conscious Discipline, a social and emotional intelligence classroom management program designed to give teachers the discipline skills they need to address the needs of children. She gives students the tools that they will need to problem solve. Her classroom has a strong family feel and encourages everyone to contribute and support each other. “We all have a role to play in taking care of one another.”
