Mark Muthig

Mark Muthig has over thirty years of service in accounting and bookkeeping for nonprofits. As the Business Manager, he loves that “the staff, students, and families really do form a family with God as the Head'' at VCS. Mr. Muthig is “most passionate about digging into the details that support the ‘work’ that our teaching staff and others do.” On a personal level, he enjoys tutoring (especially advanced math and science), playing in a community band, participating in instrumental and vocal church music opportunities, and arranging music for VCS, churches, and his community band. Mr. Muthig has earned a bachelor degree from the University of WI-Stevens Point with majors in instrumental music and mathematics education, as well as from the University of WI-Oshkosh with a major in accounting and a minor in business administration. He also earned a master of theological studies degree from St. Norbert College with an emphasis in Faith Based Management. He has been married to his blushing bride, Mary, since October of 1981. They live in Appleton with their daughter, Cindy (who served VCS as a math tutor and music arranger in spring 2023), their beagle-Jack Russell mix Lola, and their parakeets Kiwi and Bluey.
