Tim Divens

Tim Divens, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer at Valley Christian, comes to Oshkosh from Dayton, Ohio. He has been married to Erin for 21 years and they have four children: Joanna (14), Simon (12), Stella (8), and Jonathan (5). While at the University of Rio Grande, Tim gave his life to Christ and earned a Bachelor's in International Business and Economics in 2002. He enlisted in the Army, served in the Military Intelligence field as a Russian cryptologic linguistic analyst. After his time in the Army, Tim and his wife Erin moved to Southeastern Ohio and he earned a Master’s of Divinity in Practical Christian Ministry, helped plant a church and started business consulting, helped launch nonprofits and small businesses in Gallipolis, Ohio, and also started a property development business. He also served as an elected official. In 2012, Tim and Erin moved back to Dayton, where he worked in church discipleship and leading Bible studies across 4 university campuses, while serving as the Family and Discipleship Pastor. He also expanded his career in learning and development at a Fortune 500 company. Tim holds Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University, combining his faith with a passion for business and community development.
